We woke up in Oklahoma City and immediately met with the notary to sign the papers for selling our house, there had been a few delays so we weren't able to close before we left. There were thick clouds and the weather forecast warned that there might be tornadoes.
We had intended to go to Kansas City to visit my sister, but she called us the day before and let us know they had had close contact with someone with Covid (this was before any of us had had it, which we ended up catching just two weeks later) so we decided to skip the visit. We just had to much to do getting housing, business, school for Katie and the boys, etc... lined up to have to deal with having Covid right then. But since all our Air BnB stops were already booked, we had to change our plans so we ended up driving a shorter day to Little Rock Arkansas.
